New Students

Helpful Information for New Student

  • Go to the Schedule page to register for a class.
  • Go to the Schedule page to plan your visit  (For new student, please arrive 15 minutes early to register).
  • Classes are 60 – 75 minutes.
  • Wear comfortable clothing.
  • Try not to eat at least 2 hours before any class.
  • Please bring your own yoga mat.  However, if you don’t have one or forgot to bring one, mats are available for $1 rental.

While in the Studio

  • Please do not use and turn off your cell phone inside the studio.
  • Please take your shoes off and leave them in the designated area outside the practice room.
  • Come early to sign in at the desk.
  • If you are late, please make your entrance as quietly as possible.
  • Please do not use strong perfumes or lotions.
  • Be respectful of your neighbor’s space.
  • Tailor your practice by modifying the intensity, not by avoiding the postures or changing them.
  • Leave your space as you found it.
  • Observe silence while class is in session, whether practicing or not.
  • Listen to your body.
  • Smile as you do your practice.  If you can’t smile, you’re doing it a little too much.
